Situated in one of Düsseldorf’s most charming neighborhoods ‚Unterbilk’, our apartment is just a couple of minutes to walk from the river Rhine, the well-know ‚Medienhafen’ (media harbour) and the historical quarters of Düsseldorf like the Karlstadt. If you prefer to walk along the Rhine, you will need about 10 minutes to the busy ‚Altstadt’ with plenty of bars and restaurants. The famous shopping area around the ‚Königsallee’ is also just 10 – 15 minutes away.
The connection to all kinds of public transport is very good (within a 2-minute-walk you can reach all bus/train stops), the main train station is just 10 minutes, the fair ground and airport are just 15-20 minutes by public transport/taxi.
Due to its central but still quiet location, Unterbilk is indeed one of the most popular and charming quarters of Düsseldorf. There is a huge variety of small cafés, bars and all kinds of restaurants in our neighbourhood. Just around the corner, on Düsseldorf’s well-known Lorettostrasse, you will find very good shopping amenities like supermarkets and small shops as well as trendy design and fashion shops. For all who prefer fresh food directly from the market: there is a farmer’s market twice a week just a few steps away.
